How long do I have to register?
You have 14 days from the time you receive your Vacation Gift to register and pay the small service fee associated with your vacation gift. -
How long do I have to go on my Vacation?
You will have from 1 to 3 years to enjoy your Vacation depending upon the Gift you have received. Each Vacation Gift has its own unique Terms and Conditions found on the information page related to the specific Vacation Gift. Please read all Terms and Conditions related to your VacationThankYou Gift. -
How far in advance do I have to make my reservation?
All hotel accommodations throughout the travel industry are issued on a space available basis; reservations should be made as far in advance as possible. Reservations must be booked at least 60 days in advance (to insure availability)) with cruise vacations requiring 90 day advance booking. -
What type of accommodations will I be staying in?
Each Vacation Gift has its own unique accommodation programs. Please view the information page related to your specific Vacation Gift. VacationThankYou.com has a wide range of accommodations from cruise ship staterooms to private villas and condominiums with more than 1,000 hotel properties and over 3,500 resort destinations. Please read all Terms and Conditions related to your VacationThankYou Gift. -
Can my children come?
Yes. You may usually bring up to 2 or 3 children depending upon the vacation gift you have received, each Vacation Gift has its own unique Terms and Conditions found on the information page related to that specific Vacation Gift. Can I go alone?
Yes, however single travelers may require a surcharge depending upon the Vacation Gift you have received. Each Vacation Gift has its own unique Terms and Conditions found on the information page related to that specific Vacation Gift. Are there timeshare or condo sales involved?
NO! We pride our selves on providing the most straightforward vacation programs available. You will never be required to attend any type of sales presentation while enjoying your Vacation ThankYou gift!
Please Note; Most hotel chains are actively involved in the sale of time-share condominium weeks, including Hyatt, Hilton, Sheraton, Disney and many other fine hotels. Most will have personnel at the hotel, usually at the concierge desk or elsewhere on the property to invite you to "take a tour" of the resort. Usually, the incentives they offer, i.e. like tickets to local attractions, additional accommodation nights, lunch or dinner and other gifts usually make the 90 minute presentation worth taking. With VacationThankYou, there is no requirement whatsoever to accept or attend any presentations. -
How much is the service fee?
Depending upon the vacation you have received it will either be $20 or $29.95. -
Do I have to pay anything besides the service fee?
Yes, you are responsible for the government taxes. These are usually between $7 and $12 per night depending upon the destination. If your VacationThankYou gift is a Caribbean Cruise, You will be responsible for the Departure and Port Tax of $59.00 per person. The following items are not included: transportation to and from destination or cruise ship departure point, incidental expenses, service charges, gratuities, transfers, taxes, insurance, applicable government tariffs and other items of a personal nature. -
Can I travel on Holidays?
Holidays, weekends and travel within 60 days, when available, may require a surcharge. Each Vacation Gift has its own unique Terms and Conditions found on the information page related to the specific Vacation Gift. Please read all Terms and Conditions related to your VacationThankYou Gift. -
Can I book a group for this vacation?
Your Vacation Thank You Gift is for you and your immediate family. It is not valid for conventions or group travel. (Groups are considered more than 1 family or couple) -
What type of identification will I need?
Identification requirements vary depending upon destination(s) chosen and will be provided by your Reservations Agent. Destinations within the US only require a valid driver’s license. After December 31st, 2006, anyone traveling outside the US will be required to have a valid US Passport. -
Can I give my Vacation Gift to someone else?
Yes. It is fully transferable and may be given by the recipient to any person over the age of 21. -
Can I sell my Vacation Gift?
NO! This is strictly prohibited. Only AUTHORIZED S.A.M.I. employees and independent representatives may sell VacationThankYou products and programs.
